HOW TO CONQUER SLOTHFULNESS

THERE ARE MANY who are unaware of the crippling nature of slothfulness and the truly hideous insipidity caused by its clutch on our lives. therefore LET US DETECT AND CONQUER every symptom of slothfulness in our lives and families; for when we reclaim all of the GODGIVEN resoponsibilities that we have delageated to others we may apply ourselves to raising GODS STANDARD of turth in our day and for generations to come.


III. THE NATURE OF THE SLOTH

The sloth is an mammal which measures two to three feet in length. It lives in the canopy of trees which make up the tropical rain forests of Central and South America.

WHY IS THE SLOTH CALLED ATSLUWTH (WAHT SLUT)
When European explorers discovered the sloth they gave it the name sloth because it was so characteritic of the Hebrew word atsluwth which means to be idle

HOW DOES THE SLOTH LIVE UP TO ITS NAME
It is the embodiment of idleness. It may spend a lifetime in a single tree. Its slow motion movements communicate the impressions that it has an overabundance of time.

WHAT CAN A SLOTH BEAT IN A RACE
Nothing inthe mammal family. It is the slowest of all mammals. In a sixty second race it would cover onyl a few feet. One scientist observed that relatively speaking cellular fluids of single celled protozoa move faster than a sloth trying to escape from a python (ha ha haha aha). One adverturesome sloth however wras observered as it made a trup of four miles in only fourty eight days!

WOULD A SLOTH PASS GOD's SLEEP TEST?
NO. God warns thee sluggard to get out of bed and GO TO WORK. the sloth typically sleeps FIFTEEN or more hours a day. this includes all day and most of the night.

WHAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF A SLEEPING SLOTH
Moths and algae. The motionless sloth with its long coarse hair and distinct lack of mothballs becomes full of moths. The pyralid moth's body is flattened like the flea, thus it moves freely through the sloth's hair. Tiny grooves that etch each hair provide a nice where several species of algae can grow. Algage may become so thick that the sloth takes on a blue green appearance and gives off a musty odor. The sloth of course ignores the algae.

WHAT IS THE SLOTH's PRIMARY OCCUPATION
Eating. the sloth is usually plump and well fed. The only reason that it would expend energy to leave its treetop would be to find more food. It literally eats its way through the dense canopy of leaves that cover the forest.

HOW DOES SLOTHFULNESS KILL THE SLOTH?
when food becomes the least bit scarce the sloth goes hungry. It moves slowly and is not accustomed to hunting for its food. thus it is extremely susceptible to droughts fire and insect invasions which destroy its food force. A sloth will die of starvation if food is not always within its grasp. when it comes to providing food the ways of a sloth are strking in contrast to the ways of an ANT.

WHY IS A SLOTH HARD TO DETECT
the sloths primary defense against predators is deception. It remains motionless for hours at a time and looks like a big o pile of dead leaves and shit.

DOES THE COLD SLOW DOWN THE SLOTH
UNLIKE other mammals, the sloths temperature varies with the surrounding temperatures. it can vary more than TWENTY FIVE DEGREES. as the outside temperature gets coldre however, the sloth curls up tightly to prevent the loss of heat.

HOW DOES THE SLOTH VIEW THE WORLD
upside down. the sloth has more vertebrae in its neck than any other mammal and can turn its neck 180degrees in either direction

HOW BRIGHT IS THE FUTURE OF THE SLOTH
The Fossil Record shows that there are ten times as many extinct species of sloth as living ones. Only two are common today.
